yes yes yes YESSS *flails around* amazingly awesome read as always. You always come up with such ingenious ideas using the final fantasy verse and every single installment so far in this series does such a great job in further developing the characters *that * much more so that it gives me something to chew on while I wait (impatiently ) for the next chapter.

THIS CHAPTER IS AMAZINGG!!??! I think I can just rant on and on about how interesting the idea that the awesome-magical-fantastical summons actually come from a very ordinary world (hey sounds like where I'm living). It just gives this series so much more of an "Origins " storyline feel which makes it so much more than just a plain 'ol finalfantasy!au (do I smell a parallel in Baekhyun's comic book reading??)

Laughing because in Jongin /Kai's pov Luhan is this mysterious cool omniscient being but in reality he is just a cute boy next door and the "summon's world" he returns to is basically just a harem of other good looking mofos cooped up in a bookshop.

This is basically Baekhyun's chapter and guh i love his characterization. Again this goes back the origin story feel but as a reader going along with baekhyun discovering the summoning process is just so fascinating. Of course he has to be the greaseball picking the shift with the most girl-traffic. SCREAMS AT THE KRIS -MEETS-BAEKHYUN BACK STORY!!! I was expecting kris to make the appearance but I definitely wasn't expecting such a tense scene. And the way baekhyun basically saved him is really just so squeal -worthy!!!!! Kris is tsundere.

Glad you enjoyed this one too! I am not much of a planner, so the plot sort of develops itself as it goes along and by the time I'm halfway through writing the story, I have a vague idea what it's supposed to be about. In this case, at least, I'd intended to have the Summons come from a slightly different world - like the one where Jongin etc. live ("two world that seem alike" and all that), only lacking in magic. Because yeah, it makes it that much more entertaining that on Jongin's side of things, Lu Han's much more impressive than he is in his own world! A bookshop seemed like a relatively safe place to put them while they search for their missing companions. Of course, there's that one extra bed upstairs that needs filling, too...

I don't speak either of the relevant languages in this fandom - everything I'm getting from Baekhyun, I'm dependent on the accuracy of subs, so I'm glad he's coming across okay! He just seems like he'd be the one after the shift with all the girl-traffic, somehow.

My entire motivation for writing this part was to get a 'hypothermia' bingo square, and since I'd always planned for Kris to have found Baekhyun in the Great Glacier (as Baekhyun = FFVII's Alexander), it seemed like the perfect opportunity. I didn't realise it was going to expand with so much backstory but the saving Kris bit? That was definitely going to happen. ^_^
