Clearly, Kitty is from Northbrook for the same reason that movie!Bobby is randomly from Boston: because... actually, no, I got nuthin'.

That said, my Bobby won't actually recognize her, though iirc Jean or possibly Kurt may have mentioned her name once or twice. But she's obvs free to recognize him!
