Personally, I don't understand April Fools' Day.
The tradition is rather baffling to the mind. What mentality drives a person to pull pranks on someone else? Regardless of how harmless the joke may be, preying on the gullible seems, to me, a betrayal of someone's trust. The balance between two people is inevitably disrupted by such a cruel action. Feelings, too, I am certain, are injured in the process. Especially to those who are not familiar with the mechanism of the tradition and take the joke as a serious act. One must ask what sort of accomplishment is it to prove that you are the better deceiver.
It took three hours - not a minute of which I cared to have wasted - to rearrange the music sheets alphabetically and by date of publication, and then to wash off the mustaches on Beethoven and Mozart's faces. The students were at least decent enough not to damage the instruments in the room. Even though, the strings of the Klotz have come loose. New locks will be installed and only those with special permission may enter.
On the matter of an unrelated note, the storage shed in the backyard has been infested with stray cats. I have very little idea how they came about, though I suspect it must be the work of someone. A student, most likely. Paper plates of tuna have been left behind, as well as traces of drank-up milk. While I understand the kindness behind the action, please be reminded that feral cats are susceptible to parasitic infestations, so take extra caution, if you must. Even if the school is not intended as a shelter for homeless cats...
Please stop asking me if it is true that Robert Pattinson has died in Austria.
Wer ist Robert Pattinson...?
