[Professor's Journal] Students and Muggles

Oct 18, 2010 11:12

18.10.10

It seems like an unfortunate idea to teach the students about harmless Muggle warfare. The classroom was a mess with pudding and tomatoes smeared on every wall. I do feel bad for the house elves who have to tidy the room afterward. I only thought an activity would break up the monotony of Muggle Studies. I would have not imagined that students would fight over each other just to choose a partner. That Slytherin... I worry for him. He was tossed between the Gryffindors like a helpless doe between vicious lions. Poor child nearly ran out of class as soon as it was over... Is this my fault? Should I take responsibility?

Perhaps, tomorrow, I will stick to the regular plan. Perhaps, monotony is what these kids need.
