Right now my friends are going through very rough times,
financially and emotionally.

Billy Slone is a friend and former manager of mine who, after
beating cancer twice, is going through chemotherapy right now and struggling to
cover his hospital bills and rent. He needs to know he isn't all alone. He's
been too weak to get out much from the chemo treatments, and people he
considered friends have been too busy or lazy to take the time to visit or call
him. We're organizing a Sushi Buffet Lunch with him sometime in the next week or
two in Reston, Va for anyone interested. cailleachbheurr(she

Bassett is a single mother raising 2 kids with no child support, alimony, or
help from her family; over and over again she's been facing a social service
system that seems almost designed to prevent anyone from keeping their children
fed and clothed and housed. She needs to know anyone cares. She needs to know
right now. She's struggling to afford moving back to the east coast right
now. cheshirrrecat.Rebecca Richardson has been consistently putting her bank account
down to just pennies above $0. She's been spending nearly every penny she makes
on supporting her friends and loved ones. A mistaken charge to her bank account
just resulted in nearly a dozen $32 overdraft charges. She's working with the
bank and the company at fault to fix the mistake, but in the meantime needs gas
to get to work and food to stay alive. More importantly, she needs as many hugs
as you can give her, because she's been put in a very emotionally fragile
situation over the last several months.
These are real
people that I love.
If it won't hurt you any, they'd appreciate your
help.
I figure I'll divide donations according to their needs.
Immediate needs followed by the chemotherapy bills.
