Good to be home :-)
Sure is hard getting used to being up at 6am after sleeping in for two weeks. Calgary was pretty good. It was the usual, lots of late nights, seeing friends, visiting my backup parents, etc... Damn cold there, most days were -20, I was hoping to come home to a nice warm Vancouver but it is damn cold here as well. Xmas was good, New Years was a total bust, everyone passed out before midnight but me. The 15 hour bus ride home even went pretty good since I slept about 13 hours of it.
When I got home I did a mass cleanup of all my stuff and ended up with a garbage bag of old paperwork and junk. Once that was done I went shopping. First I bought a wardrobe and that was a pain in the ass to put together but looks great and now I have a place for all my clothes. Then I went and bought a 19inch lcd flatscreen monitor for my computer, wireless network card and a tv tuner card. Can you say goodbye paycheck? Oh well at least my room is pretty kick ass now and all I need to buy is a wireless keyboard and some speakers. That will have to wait till my next payday.
I hope everyone enjoyed their xmas and New Years, hopefully 2005 is a great year, especially if the NHL gives me my hockey back....!
