Arcana

The Fortune Arcana

The Fortune Arcana symbolizes of fate and varying luck, fortunes and opportunities. What goes up will go down, what goes down will go up. That card represents those events in our lives that come out of nowhere.

A common aspect to most interpretations of this card within a reading is to introduce an element of change in the querant's life, such change being in station, position or fortune. The Wheel of Fortune is also about consequence. This is in line with the concept of Karma which is a philosophy that proposes every action we take affects everything else - what we sow, so shall we reap - for every action there is an equal reaction. Simply put, this card is a message that says "what goes around, comes around."

Some frequent keywords used by card readers are:

• Turning point ---- Opportunities ---- Possibilities

• Development ---- Activity ---- Surprises

• Expansion ---- Sudden Events ---- New Directions Developments

• Life Cycles ---- Sudden Change ---- Interpretation

Shadow

Name: It goes for Kurt too.

Description: Yellow eyes, like all the shadows. The shadow is Kurt wearing his normal clothes, never the Dalton uniform.

Personality:

The two most important traits of the shadow are that he is angry and he is selfish. Kurt’s shadow is imposing, horribly sarcastic and witty; and will go for a direct approach when it comes to questioning and answering.

He speaks his emotions in a very blunt manner. Kurt itself is very bad at boundaries and limits, and his shadow shows that at his worse. If he thinks you are an idiot, he will tell you so, if he likes you, he will let you know as well.

He’s selfish in a way that he’s tired of doing things for others sake, and he will look out for himself first. However, and like it happened in canon when the jocks were harassing Tina, he is extremely protective of his friends. That means that he won’t be submissive or care if he’s shouting at someone twice his size (not like he cared much to begin with) because is his ego talking. He will be arrogant and cocky as hell too.

Dungeon/Environment: A stage with ‘KURT’’s name in lights like during the ‘Rose’s turn’ performance, because that was Kurt at his best.

The Shadow's 'True Form'

Name: It has none.

Description: It looks like a huge, angry and bloody beast the size of a bison.

It represents Kurt’s anger and the many times he got hurt in his life (hence, the sword/weapons stabbed in his back).

The real shadow is not too fast and not as strong as it might look at first, but to compensate it he’s very violent and can take a ridiculous amount of damage. That’s the main problem with Kurt’s shadow, it’s not difficult to fight and damage, but it’s incredibly hard to destroy.

Persona

Name: Garuda. Kurt has a Persona of the opposite sex. This is due to his sexuality and how he doesn’t care for masculine/feminine roles.

She has a bird like look because of the whole 'bird in a cage' metaphor with Kurt when he is in the Dalton Academy.
