Permanently droned? That would explain the long absence. I guess the place decided that I needed a new place though while I'm at it. It was nicer to have family members that aren't drones though.

It's different for different people. Sometimes you remember everything, sometimes you don't, sometimes you keep everything, sometimes you don't. And sometimes you stay where you are... and... I guess, you didn't.

I hope you still have everything you regained, though.

Yeah. They, um. Came on Sunday. And they all vanished Wednesday night; I'm still not sure how, exactly.

It was sort of a nightmare.

You know, protecting people isn't the only thing you should try to do. Sometimes there's other ways to help out that isn't necessarily protecting, but still helpful. You could figure out some of those ways.

Sometimes it just takes time and experience. You'll get better at it.
