[A → Action; 340 Brady Lane: Early Morning]
[There's a lot of things wrong with this morning. A lot of things wrong. For one, this isn't his bed. He knows this because he's had his bed for how long? Anyways, this isn't his bed. Second, last time he checked, he had some dashing and lovely scars to go with his whole vigilante image. Now how in the

He starts looking at the "scenery" and . . . that's when he sees Dick and freezes.]
Dick?!
[He takes a few tentative steps towards the porch. Color him shocked--he wasn't expecting you to end up here, Dick.]
Reply
Dick perks up at his name, and a very familiar voice.]
Bruce???
[Colored him more shocked? He gets up from his seated position. Screw tentatives steps Bruce. He's just going to walk straight towards you.]
Reply
Bruce just . . . rushes forward and wraps Dick up in a hug. Yes, Dick, he's happy to see you . . . but he's also not happy that you're in this hell called Mayfield.]
Did you just arrive? How long have you been here?
Reply
Oh....kay. That might have taken him by quite a bit of surprise. DOES HE HUG BACK? SHOULD HE BE WORRIED? Maybe he'll do both. Awkward hug back.]
Woah. Obviously something screwed with your head a little. Usually I'm the one to initiate hugs. You sick? [Joking aside.] Just arrived really. I woke up here and suddenly I have a family.
Reply
Hey, Bruce has been here for two months with no allies and no friends, in addition to receiving plenty of teasing and prodding about being Batman. Even Bats need some comfort sometimes.]
You have no idea. Or maybe you do--in any case, if you don't, you'll find out shortly.
[He's releasing Dick from the hug almost as abruptly as he initiated it.]
Reply
Yeah. But that doesn't make Dick worry any less since he has no idea what's going on really. But he will always give you hugs back. Because that's the Dick thing to do.]
I don't really know what this place is about. Other then it can basically do anything. And that my lifeless child is actually really kind of creeping me out a bit.
[He'll push his hands into his pockets.]

Your kid must be a drone . . . apparently my spouse is one, too. I have to agree with you in that they're all pretty unsettling.
[Bruce folds his arms over his chest, and his expression turns serious. That's his game face of course.]
Is there someplace private we can talk?
Reply
One of them. I have another who's quite alive. My 'wife' is also very much alive...and ironically redheaded. [He feels like that was a definitely set-up somehow, but anyways.]
I guess my place isn't private enough. You've been here longer then I have you know.

[Bruce just smirks and shakes his head at Dick's comment about his "wife".]
Try to stay out of trouble. [For Dick, the key word here is probably "try".]
Did Harley tell you that the rogues know?
Reply
[Rolls his eyes.]
I'm not going to do anything. [For now. Strangers and all.]
Know what? [BLANKEST STARE EVER.]
Reply
[Totally not buying it.] Like I said, try to stay out of trouble.
[Bruce just . . . sighs, because what he has to say isn't easy for him to say.]
The rogues that are here know that Bruce Wayne is the Batman. Knowing that, it won't be difficult for them to connect you to me. I'm surprised Harley didn't mention that to you--or did she?
[He lowers his head, totally prepared to go into angsty brooding mode again.]
Reply
[Rude.] You know I was the good one. Usually. What type of trouble are we talking about?
She didn't really say anything about it. But our wonderful friend Nigma made sure I knew. I think this place has done a lot to her. Wait is the Joker around? [That would also be a good reason for Harley to be less of a thread.]
Reply
Trouble of the female variety, of which we are both well-acquainted with.
[Bruce actually chuckles at that.] I'm sure Nigma did. He was blathering on and on about how he figured out who I was before he'd even come here . . .
Not that I know of. If he is, I haven't seen him. [And he doesn't want to see the Joker, either.]
Reply
I'm not going to go willy nilly over pretty girls here, so don't worry about me Bruce.
I could see him doing that. Is it funnier in my head or was it actually funny. Because having that knowledge here doesn't seem to be doing anything good for any of us in the end.
Probably not. I'm sure Harley would have mentioned it.
