I just got off the phone with hofmannison and I'm so excited that I just have to start my flailing early this time around.
About three years ago (HOLY SCHNIKES HOW HAS IT BEEN 3 YEARS) I agreed to go to Celebration III with Matty, even though I had no idea what I getting myself into. Then April 2004 came and I realized that I had gotten myself into one of the best conventions ever. And I didn't care that I got 10 hours of sleep over 3 nights. Or that I started standing in line at 3:30 am to see George Lucas. Or that I met Mookie.
Because I got a yellow bracelet, I got to drool over Ray Park several times (& ignore him in a restaurant), TOM BERG!, Mr. Lucas? Why were there two Darren's on Bewitched?, free whiskey shot, and lots of people watching (aka waiting in line). Sure it took me a good 2-3 days to recover, but IT WAS AWESOME.
And on Monday, hofmannison bought our tickets and today hofmannison/reaper63 got us a room at the Holiday Inn for Celebration IV. Los Angeles. Memorial Day Weekend, 2007.

And if you think I'm a geek for going to a Star Wars Celebration, I have one thing to say: Duh.
But if you think I'm a loser for going to a Star Wars Celebration, I have one thing to say: Clearly, you've never been.
