Elizabeth Dare Receives an Anonymous Note.
*Pterry, Puz's personal bat messenger (who theoretically stays away from the C&CC's enticing roosts) arrives at the lodgings of Elizabeth Dare, bearing a small, rough-textured letter. He flutters about, looking for an opening. Upon delivering the letter, Pterry starts looking around the room for food.*
*The letter reads as follows:*
Dear Elizabeth Dare,
I understand that you and I share several mutual acquaintances, one being a certain person who deals in dairy products. And other things. She has presented you, myself and possibly others with a very dire situation as of late. I wish to discuss this with you. Please take your next morning tea at Cafe Quaint on Concord Square. Bring a fan adorned with three alabaster raven feathers. I will be the man whom mistakes you for a maid from the Shuttered Palace.
