[Cissie's using text today, because she is cranky and wants some privacy.]

This flood sucks. The last one was better. [And yes. She was stuck with O'Brien for that one.] And Admiral, this had better be temporary. I don't need two inmates.

Am I exempt from answering that?

Destroying myself.

[Moving on, moving on.] Is he your other inmate?

You have a second chance now, though.

[AVOID] ...Who?

Only if I stay here.

[:| Really Cissie. Really.] Sylar.

Not necessarily. You can go anywhere you want when you graduate. Or you can stay on as a warden and make a deal with the Admiral. Either way, you're still alive. You have another chance at life. You can do whatever you want with it now. I'd say that's a far cry from destroyed.

[ARGH.] ...Yes.

I'd destroy it again.

[This is what you get for having an inmate who can paint the future.:|] And you're upset? I'm not trying to pry. I'm just curious.

I really don't think you would, though. Why do you think that?

[DARN YOU PAINTINGS. ...Have an honest answer because she trusts you, Issac. GOOD LUCK WITH THIS.] ...He slept with Elle. Before she left.

I'm weak.

[OHOHO. This is heavy. Sounds vaguely familiar, though. Isaac isn't sure how to respond.] ...I'm sorry. You didn't need to tell me--can I help somehow?

You're not. There's no way you could have lasted this long here if you were weak.

...I know. But I thought--if anyone deserves to know what's going on with me, it's you. I don't think you can do anything though, unless you can end this flood for me.

I am, though. Because--

[Suddenly Private omg~]
Because there's almost no way I can relapse here. If I ever went back and stayed, I'd slip back into it. In the back of my mind, I still crave the drugs.

[Aww, Cissie. He's sincerely touched.] Thank you for trusting me.

...I can't make excuses for Sylar. I like to think I understand why he does some of the things he does, but I only have theories. If he's anything like me, I don't think he knows what how to feel when someone actually cares for him. I know he cares about you, though.

Maybe you do, and maybe you always will, at least a little, but I do believe you're strong enough to resist them. What's the draw, compared to the downsides?

[Aww, Isaac. Have a pause while she processes.]

...He just didn't care about me enough. Or respect me, or--I don't know. She was more important.

It numbs. Sometimes I still need to feel numb.

He would have made her stay if she was more important.

Sometimes I'd like to feel numb, too. But that only works for so long. Eventually you have to deal with things, and putting it off only makes it worse.

...Maybe he tried. How would we know?

Private! future_games September 2 2011, 05:14:46 UTC
I know. But I dealt with things that way for so long. It's instinct now.

We wouldn't. I'm sorry. I really shouldn't get involved.

I don't think it is, anymore. An old habit you could slip back into if you aren't careful, maybe, but not instinct. You're strong enough to resist. Think of the pros and cons.

You don't have to apologize, Isaac. It's not your problem to fix, and I don't mean to put you in the middle. I know he's your friend.
