Another exciting night in the big city... Which means the big guy has me on a stake-out again. But I make my own fun. You pick the best nights to turn up on my comm.

In other words, you're going out of your mind with boredom, right?

Preeeeeeeeeetty much. Hey, you know I took apart my earpiece after our last chat. Nothing wrong with it or anything, so I think it's fair to say that the weirdness is on your end.

Yeah, that wouldn't surprise me. Weird stuff happens here all the time. I spent four days last week as a seven year old, for example.

I really don't think I'd like to relive seven. Sounds like the place where you are kind of sucks.

It definitely has its moments, but there are good things too. I've got a lot of friends here.

Friends are good. I guess maybe they might balance out the whole having to relive being a little kid thing. Still haven't met a you in my world, though.

Now Robin, I'm sure there are one or two people your age in Gotham.

Ha ha, Cissie King-Jones. [See? He remembers your name, too.] There are plenty of them--but none that I wouldn't have to lie to every single day about more than half of my life.

I'm... incredibly familiar with that dilemma. But there's still time for you to meet other kids you can talk to without lying.

[switching to a private channel] Well, I hope so. But I mean... There's no one. And I've been keeping an ear out.

Well... I can tell you how I met my Tim, if that would help? It was mostly an accident.
