If Beatty asks for anything, please don't give it to him. He doesn't take me seriously as his warden, so I want everything to go through me. I wouldn't put it past him to try to do whatever he can to avoid dealing with me, and I want to make that as impossible as I can for him.
And if he's seen around the library, please let me know. Though I think I'll be following him around for a few days, at least.
Also, I'm curious--what are some ways you've dealt with stubborn inmates? I think I'll need ideas.
