rain and noodles
Rain makes me do strange things. I get all weird and moody, and I make snap decisions.
Tonight I decided to make a lasagna. Just because I wanted lasagna. So I labored in the kitchen for an hour and a half. It was not the best I've ever made, but it worked.
After that, I got bored. So I followed Josh's suggestion and went to see Kevin. I took him some lasagna. It was a quick trip, but I loved surprising him. He was smiling from ear to ear. That made me feel all warm and fuzzy.
Work, however, was not all warm and fuzzy. Courtney and Carolyn got into it. Apparently Carolyn caught Courtney making faces at her. Who knows. So Carolyn pulls her into the conference room, where Courtney says she yelled at her for wearing headphones. She's like, when I'm here I'm here to work. Now this would be all fine and good if I EVER saw her doing work. Every time I walk by her desk she's checking her bank account. Then she tells Courtney, "I love my job, and I don't want you be the reason I hate it." That's just a bitch statement. It may not seem like that to those of you just reading that, but Carolyn is so "me me me" it's not funny. She doesn't care what Courtney thinks or what opinions she may have. Everything must be done her way. This woman sits with her neck craned every time Courtney sends an e-mail and tells her she's doing it wrong. She yells at her for everything and is generally unpleasant to be around. Now, to be fair, Courtney isn't being very mature about all this. Making faces and so forth. All I know is that something is going to happen at work, and I need to make sure I have popcorn ready.
