((So Vincent went back to his world and tried fixing things, as suggested in the "Guilt and Abandonment" post. He found out, through a series of events, that one of the people he'd killed in the Sector 7 sweep had been Cid's father. Cid was mad. Cloud felt that either Cid or Vincent had to go, since they'd be a distraction to each other anytime they met. Vincent was thereupon exiled from AVALANCHE. He left Shelke with Tifa, since Shelke had stayed there for longer than she'd stayed with him and because he really knew nothing about child care. So, for the time being, Vincent = no longer in AVALANCHE = very, very depressed Vincent, trying to find a way back into AVALANCHE.))
