i <3 my job.
I would like to make a list of things that I love about my job:
1. My building is on a pier, approximately 15 steps from the Potomac River.
2. Common mid-day conversations include: Barack vs. Hillary, whether God exists, why buying $175 jeans on sale for $62 makes them a bargain, and the fun of drinking to excess.
3. Free gourmet coffee and all sorts of diet sodas.
4. Very fine paycheck-to-workload ratio.
5. I am getting paid to write this.
6. Decent health insurance for the first time in 8 years.
7. Oh, and the work is important and useful and I'm good at it.
Now, if I could just finish my stupid dissertation...
