I don’t like Christmas. I can give you a lot of reasons. One of them being that last year I spent it tied up being tortured by Pagan gods. Another one is that I found out what the world was really like right around Christmas. And Dad forgot. It wasn’t just one year. He forgot a lot of years. We never really had Santa in my house. We had Dad. Who needed Santa when we had him? And then he forgot. There was a hunt, a job, someone else to save, something more important than Christmas. Dean tried but Dean was twelve.
After that, I didn’t want to celebrate Christmas anymore. I still don’t.
