Character Information
Series: Malcolm in the Middle
Character: Reese (Wilkerson? The last name is revealed in behind-the-scenes, but is not mentioned at all in the show itself)
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Straight. He’s been hitting on girls for years, as well as gone through various girlfriends.

Appearance:** Here.

Personality: Reese has many traits commonly associated with a seventeen-year-old. He’s overly confident, doesn’t listen to others well, and has little to no respect for authority. Reese often plays the bully, regularly beating up on kids on the playground, stealing lunch money, and has no regrets for doing so. He can delight in the misery and frustrations of others at times, often stirring up trouble and pulling pranks. He also enjoys thinking he’s outsmarted someone or gained the upper hand- and will goat about it, too.

Reese is always getting into trouble. Always. When he’s bored, he’ll find any crazy, outrageous, and stupid things to do in order to have fun. Typical teenage boy things- skateboarding, watching TV, beating up people, vandalizing things, making fun of others, or trying crazy stunts. He doesn’t like being told what to do, and lives to rebel against authority (Especially his parents). He’s enthusiastic about what he does, and doesn’t take time to think out his actions.

Abilities/Strengths: Reese can be surprisingly resourceful. He’s fairly good at orchestrating pranks and finding ways not to get caught. Causing trouble and being thought innocent is what he lives for, to a certain degree. He’s usually passionate about what he does, either filled with excitement and recklessness, or prodded to action through frustration and anger. Besides trying to keep from getting in trouble, Reese is honest overall, in the way that he wears his feelings on his sleeve. (Although he certainly deals enough to deception to counter this.) He’s good at sucking up to people and playing innocent, and good at lying.

Weaknesses: Reese isn’t the brightest bulb in the box. Certain things he simply doesn’t notice- and even if they are explained to him, he may still not understand, or not believe the person correcting him at all. He’s arrogant and cares enough about his pride and image just like any other teenager. Reese is also quick to anger- calling him names will most likely earn you a beating, or some form of wedgie. He takes joy in others misery, and isn’t considerate of other people’s feelings. He doesn’t take much time to think or plan out something- Reese says what comes to mind, and acts without thinking through the possible consequences. He’s arrogant enough to mess with others who are obviously stronger than him. However, if needed, Reese has no problems with cowering away, screaming, or running away entirely.

History: Reese had an interesting upbringing. As the second oldest of five siblings, Reese knows the ‘big brother’ role fairly well. At times he works with his younger siblings as a team, while at others he may rat them out. His household has always been chaotic, where the screaming and scolding of his mother is a common occurrence. It can be assumed Reese has endured some forms of cruel an unusual punishment over the years, even as a young child.

Nothing particularly is of note in his past, as he lived in an average (sort of) house, going to High School, trying to get girlfriends, and causing mischief to those around him. After their oldest brother Francis was sent to military school, Reese took over as the head brother of the house. He’s had multiple instances of mischief, and the exact number of times the police has been involved is unknown.
