ouch. and to say I forgot whta prompt I exactly used and what day I asked for... silly me. :)
Aaaanyway..... I was to see a prompt that could easily, and can, follow the show's timeline and even fit between episodes, with your personal touches of personal interpretation of the characters here and there. also, being a strong shipper and follower of the Jello/Jisbon movement, I can only say I apprecaited the emerging of a blossing romance, even if, for now, One-sided. also, Jane's caraterization, like Lisbon's, was simply sublime and extremy IC, reflecting teh way they are getting closer and closer in "reality", sahring more then they did and probably should....
thnaks you very much, I really loved it!

I don't blame you for forgetting; it was requested quite some time ago, so...

I'm glad that you liked this. I hadn't written an episode tag for such a long while - and definitely not one for season four, so I was beyond thrilled to get a chance to write this. Even more so when I realised my concept fitted your prompt perfectly.

I do believe Lisbon's affections for Jane have only grown more apparent of late and it is heartachingly sad to see the fierce, lone wolf falling hard for the one man who isn't ready to have her (yet?)

And thank you so much for your positive feedback. I've spent years honing my characterisations of those two, so I'm glad you believe that it hasn't all been in vain.

Most of the way through this I was plannning to comment and say "I actually think, despite how it brought his grief back, that Jane was glad deep down that Lisbon helped him remember." And then you had him thank her for it, and I was like "ah, yes." Great job!

Thanks. Yeah, the story wasn't from Jane's pov, so I couldn't have him being grateful for it outright. Besides, I think it also required time for something of that magnitude to sink in.
