[ Diana grumbles a bit before she opens her eyes and shakes her head a little. ]

[Terezi's rapping her knuckles on Diana's desk repeatedly. if Diana's run into a troll before, she'll know what she sees now, but if not- there's a girl about Diana's age standing there, except she's got grey skin, orange horns, and pointed ears and teeth. her eyes are also red with no distinction between pupil, iris, or sclera, but that's not a troll trait- it's just Terezi.]

Hiiii! Human sleeping habits are so strange. I thought you weren't a nocturnal species.

[ Once Diana gets her eyesight focused, she seems a bit puzzled at Terezi's actions. Is she trying to feel around for something or not? Still, it's nice to see something different here in Mayfield. ]

I just haven't been sleeping well, so we tend to fall asleep at random intervals if that's the case. Now, as far as what you're doing - are you trying to feel around for something? [ If the answer's yes, Diana's going to assume Terezi's blind. The behavior matches up for it, anyway. ]

[she is indeed, which might be proven by the way she turns her face not quite in Diana's direction, but a little past her.]

I'm bored of this stupid schoolhive. You smelled interesting.

[ Well, Diana won't discriminate Terezi for her disability. She turns in her seat, making sure that Terezi can hear her movements. ]

Like... [Terezi gives a smile.] Books. Good ones. Ones that've been read a million times. And some metallic scent... [she laughs like it's a funny joke.] It's a good smell. A strong smell!

Well, that might be one of the weirdest compliments I've received thus far, but I'll take it.
