Cimorene is taking a walk, still not really sure what she wants to do with herself now that she's accepted she's not leaving the Mansion any time soon. His humming and leaping draws her attention, and she raises an eyebrow at it, bemused.

Of course, if she can see him, he can probably see her as well. If he cares to pay attention to tall, black-haired princesses being amused by his antics.

To stopped for a moment and gave a small bow. "Hello, miss."

She smiled, though she didn't curtsy back. "Hello. Having fun?"

"It's nice to be out of doors, miss," he said with a smile. There was rock on the ground in front of him and he tried balancing it on his boot. "Tom Jones, at your service," he said with another bow and a grin.

"Cimorene." She had stopped wearing her crown, and had no interest in advertising her royalty. "Well, sir, it seems you are in luck, as there's a great deal of out of doors in the general area."

"I know, miss." Tom looked delighted at the prospect. "It's much healthier like this," he said with a gesture that attempted to encompass the entire landscape.

"Going to camp out here, then? I'd recommend a cave, actually, if that's your plan."

He shook his head. "No camping and no caves, miss. At the moment I'm seeing if there is anything worth hunting."

"Well, you're not going to have much luck if you keep making all that noise," she observed.

"I'm not hunting right now, miss. If something should pop up I'd be likely to see it. And I'm not making that much noise." The last part sounded a little offended.

She rolled her eyes. "Of course not."

T: Whee misjournal.

Tom shrugged and kept walking. If she wanted to follow him she was free to do so.

Typist: I was so totally not confused there. As long as Richard doesn't pop up we're good.

"Aw, don't tell me that offended you. My sisters said worse to me when I was six."

T:Ha. That would be...unfortunate.

"I'm not offended. I'm just busy. I don't like standing still and talking, miss."

Typist: Just a teensy bit.

She shrugged. "Well then, I wish you good hunting. Or hopping. Or humming. Whichever."

"I never said I didn't like walking and talking, miss. But if you have other matters don't let me hold you up." Tom thought for a moment. He just didn't like walking around or over things when you could walk on top of them. "I don't hop."
