EEEK Sorry guys, I'm so so so behind this month - please forgive me.
Here are my Top 10, some catchup dailies and what not + a text post.

Top 10 Pet Peeves
1. When people don't smile at Lilith (I know I know, this is such a mother thing, but if you had an insanely cute child, you'd understand)
2. When parents get competitive.. "Oh well MY child can read the encyclopedia backwards so nerrr"
3. Door-to-door Religious Salesman. Sorry if that offends you, but in realty that's exactly what they are. DTD salesmen need a licence, the religious door knockers should need one too.
4. When said DTD Religious Salespeople drag their children along. :|
5. When people say "I dont like it when women use abortion as a birth control". Please. Show me women who use abortion as birth control.
6. Anti-Fat speech. Including all that "Ohhh I'm only concerned about your healh" bull shit. If that was the case they'd be just as venemous with drinking, smoking, drug use, and McDonalds.
7. The fact that the Australian Government has just upped the price of what they like to call "Alco-pops" (think cruises, Smirnoff Black/red/ice, Breezers and the like). So now, as a responsible ADULT, when I want to go out and have a drink, I'm looking at paying close to (if not over) $10 for ONE DRINK.
8. All the damn spam on MSN now a days - what the hell is that all about??
9. When people question my affection for Jamie based on our not-married state.
10. Being woken up in the middle of a mind-blowingly awesome dream (sadly this happens far too often in my house)
DAILY THEME FOR THE 20TH OF AUGUST:
Are you a big shopper? Tell us about the biggest 'shopping spree' you have ever been on? Are you a bargain shopper? Impulsive? What are your favorite stores?
I would be a big shopper if we had the money. Jamie is always laughing at how "materialistic" I am; and it's true - I love nice things! I honestly couldn't tell you the biggest shopping "spree" I've been on, because I've never really been on one. If we had lots of disposable cash it would be a different story.

Honestly, my favourite childhood game was pretending I was a unicorn. I was sent outside a lot as a kid and we didn't play board games much.

Text Post: VNV Nation Gig. Saturday 16th August.
The VNV gig was just absolutely amazing. About 120 or so people there, so it was nice and intimate. VNV were amazing, they played all my fave songs! YAY!! Ronan worked the crowd a treat, getting really involved. I seriously believe he would have come down for drinks with his fans if we'd stayed (and if the incident didn't happen; which I will explain below). Can't say enough as to how great it was.
The only disappointment was right at the end. VNV had come on to do their 2nd encore and everyone was hyped. The end of the song came and suddenly Ronan says "I am so fucking disgusted" No one moved, we couldn't work out if he was riling us up or what was going on and then he said. "In all of our 12 years of touring I have never been more disugusted. There are three guys here in the front throwing themselves around like idiots. They slammed themselves into the crowd and knocked over a girl in a wheelchair and then laughed about it." Seriously you could hear the entire crowd gasp. Everyone boo'd. Ronan said "Seriously, that is just digusting. Thank you and have a good night" and walked off the stage.
Everyone just stood there for a few seconds in shock and then a good 3/4's of the crowd went outside. It was such a horrible end to what was, up until that point, an amazing night. Apart from those three dickheads everyone was really well behaved and friendly. I really really hope that incindent doesn't put them off coming back here again.
Notes for next time:
*WEAR COMFIER SHOES!!!!
*Stop worrying about what everyone else is thinking, no one looked at you
*Wear something that you will be more comfortable dancing in.
My feet were so sore I felt like I was walking ontop of marbles by the end of the night.
Might get re-dressed through the week, and get Jamie to take a pic so you can all see what I wore. I took a self-portrait to show my wonderfully beautiful and glam make-up job by Willow. I will post that when Dad (or mum) sends me the pic.
