Books and such...
Mum, obligatory Order member (they come everywhere with us these days) and I went shopping for my Hogwarts school supplies today and I spent hours in Flourish and Blotts. I bought all of my new school books, some newly released advanced Potions and Arithmancy texts and a planetary bookmark that moves as the real planets do. Mum also bought me a present for doing so well on my OWL's, but she says I can't have it until we get home.
As for my OWL's, I passed them all with top marks, of course. My parents were so proud of me and even Crookshanks seemed to thank my in his own special way (he didn't shed hair all over the place for a while week, which is rather considerate of him).
Order headquarters are rather quiet lately, what with everyone out following leads and such. I have discovered just how beautiful the gardens are and enjoy sitting outside on the bench and reading. The weather's still a little chilly, though, and I make sure not to stay out for too long.
Only a few days until school starts again. I can't wait!
[Edit]: Mum bought me a new book on healing spells! I can't wait to read it!
