We're just back from a sneak preview of Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy - Anthony won some free tickets in some strange library competition (hire a guide book, provide 'The Answer' and Bob's your uncle (/grandad)).
Absolutely bleeding brilliant. We were initially sceptical - obviously it can't live upto the 100% Adams product, but I'm converted. It's NOT the same, but then none of the orignal productions are the same as each other. It's updated and there is new material in it, but either there is a lot of Adams work in it or he would have approved if not.
The Movie Show is currently on in the background - the reviewers have just awkwardly tried to explain the plot and their opinion and they so blatently don't understand the whole thing, this in itself is pretty damn funny.
