Computery people, please help me! Why oh why will my sparkly new (decrepidly old) computer/internet let me log into livejournal, but not hotmail? There is no sense in that!

Version 6.0 apparently. And then a lot of other writing :)
Oh god I'm not this bad really. I did change the settings sufficiently to let the main entrance page to hotmail load, but now it just churns endlessly when trying to log in. It's got the title bit of 'MSN Hotmail - Today' but the screen itself is blank and the little world is going round and round and round. I'm sure that's highly symbolic...
I can't really expect long distance tech support, unless you have any good ideas, but thank you for answering my frustration. *mwah*
Well it should let you into hotmail then :) It sounds like either your network is being a pain or the computer is just not fast enough for their servers.. I'd get hold of Firefox and try that, just because :p
