Behold! Anything else we should know? ILU
In-Game Backstory: Starscream began life as a scientist and explorer with his friend Skyfire (who was lost during an expedition to prehistoric Earth), but when war broke out, Starscream was far more eager to pursue guns and glory. He fought alongside Megatron and the Decepticons as Megatron's second in command, no doubt due to his inexhaustible ambition.
During the fight with the Autobots, Starscream was locked with the others in stasis for millions of years before being brought out of it through a fluke in which the Autobot ship was reactivated. The Decepticons might have prospered unhindered if Starscream hadn't decided to shoot at the Autobot ship with his usual lack of foresight. Of course as the result of an incredibly believable chain reaction took place in true 80's animation fashion, Optimus Prime was inevitably reawakened and took it upon himself to resurrect his comrades, as well.
The Decepticons then began an epic fight against the Autobots with neither side really making much headway. Generally, the Decepticons would try to find new energy sources with which to return home to Cybertron. This later led to a Decepticon attempt to harness more and more energy from Earth for Cybertron through various unwholesome means that were always thwarted by the Autobots in the end, along with their human sidekicks of questionable intelligence.
Throughout, Starscream frequently proved to be a large threat to both the Autobots and the Decepticons and the two sides were frequently forced to team up to defeat the greater evil of Starscream. Starscream also sought to usurp Megatron's role as leadah leader throughout the series without bothering to disguise his true ambition. At one point, he went so far as to shoot Megatron in the back and then stand on him, declaring himself the new leader. However, such declarations typically occurred whenever Megatron happened to sustain any injury whatsoever. Why Megatron bothered to keep him around is a mystery, though it is speculated that the hate sex must have been fantastic. There is no documented proof to support this theory other than Optimus Prime's assertion that one of Megatron's punishments for Starscream would involve “nothing gentle,” as well as a later declaration by one of the Autobots that something involving Megatron and Starscream sounded “kinky.” True facts.
For some reason or other, Starscream could not be killed despite Megatron's eventual efforts to eliminate the glaring threat he presented. In a final display of bravado, Megatron managed to implant Starscream's essence into a human body which he then sought to destroy, however, Starscream managed to escape and now is on the run, finally finding solace in New York where his feeble attempts to blend in go largely unnoticed due to the city's wide range of people, both normal and decidedly not normal.
Questions;
Set I.
If you could kill any living person in the world, who would you kill? Though whether or not he'd be considered a “living person” is up to interpretation, I would annihilate Megatron for what he has done to me. Not only that, but his ineffectual leadership has been a metaphorical thorn in my side for far too long and his time has passed. It is my time to lead the Decepticons to victory and to be rid of this inferior planet and its inferior people!
Which would you rather give up: television or books? Both are exceedingly outdated means of entertainment and recreation. Not that the fleshlings would understand that. They're far too easily amused by such banal pursuits. Perhaps I'll find a way to make lasers shoot out of the television to end them all. That would make the television far more exciting, wouldn't it? A weapon of limitless destruction!
If you could solve any one current world crisis, which would you solve? The ridiculous energy crisis. If the people here had so much as an inkling about how to properly use this world to their advantage, they might not be so primitive. Furthermore, if this planet had sufficient amounts of energy, we might not have been trapped here for so long. It's far too...too...green for my tastes. Although this city is a nice change of pace. It's almost like Cybertron except for those ghastly parks.
If you were on the Titanic and there was only room for one person on your lifeboat, would you save your mother or your best friend? What sort of stupid question is that? If there was only room for one person on my lifeboat, I would save myself. Why in the world would you make a lifeboat so small in the first place? Humans. Besides, my best friend chose his own path long ago and if we were in such a situation as the one described, I would fully enjoy watching him drown while I rowed to safety.
Would you sleep with your boss to keep from losing your high-end job? ...
...
I don't believe that that is any of your concern. Not that I would sleep with Megatron in the first place, but to even consider such a course of action for myself is detestable. No amount of cleaning solution would wash that filth away. Besides, I have far more valuable assets than my “prowess in the bedroom,” as you humans fondly refer to it. There's also the matter of my having standards.
Set II.
Describe how you met your best friend. I'm certain that you mean my ex-best friend. Still, he was likable before he decided to join forces with the Autobots. Skyfire was a fellow scientist who I spent a good portion of my time with in the pursuit of knowledge. He was incredibly intelligent at the time and I would have gladly continued to work with him. He was one of the few people that I thought I could trust and I was happy to have him back until he turned traitor. I don't remember exactly how I met him. That memory has long since been deleted along with a great many others concerning him. I have no room for traitors in my mind.
Describe a situation in which you took charge. A single situation? With someone as incompetent as Megatron struggling to lead the Decepticons, there were many situations in which I, Starscream, was forced to take control. He seems to think that the Decepticons will succeed with brute force, alone, but he can't be more wrong. Speed and ingenuity are what the Decepticons need to defeat the Autobots and if he would have listened to me instead of forcing me to take command away from him at the most inopportune of times, we might have succeeded long ago. He never listens to me. Instead, he takes it upon himself to reassert his fragile claim to authority by embarrassing me, destroying me... But not anymore. He will rue the day he took command of the Decepticons. If there are enough parts of him left for him to rue anything.
