D'espairsray in-store event @ Like an Edison Nagoya
In a way it was a little disappointing and at the same time not. The disappointing part was how fast it was. It was not a signing or talking event, just a hand shake one. The staff lined up people in the store, then the band appeared and stood behind a table and everybody just moved from one band member to another (from left to the right - Hizumi, Karyu, Zero, Tsukasa) shaking hands and saying a few words. Needless to mention that I didn't say anything except "Hi" and "Hello" >_> The best part was D'espairsray in all their every day glory: casual clothes, no make-up and no sunglasses *o* Too bad it was very fast and since I stood in the beginning of the line I didn't even have an opportunity to ogle them while waiting ^_^;; But my impression from such a short encounter was that Hizumi is tiny, Zero is very good looking and Karyu is ungainly, incredibly thin and not as tall as I thought he would be (I must have got that impression seeing him next to Hizumi during lives xD), Tsukasa is... Tsukasa xD
Despite the fact that the event itself was nothing much, I can't get rid of a stupid grin on my face since then *fangirl* ;D
When I got home from Like an Edison I found a package in my mail box, it was a present I bought for Hizumi. Karyu's one is still on the way unfortunately. I wanted to give them "welcome back" presents since Nagoya is the first live of their tour. Too bad I didn't get it before the in-store today, but I'll just give Hizumi's present to the staff before the live tomorrow. However, there are three possibilities after he gets the present:
1) They'll ban me from their lives and get a restraining order - scary .____.
2) Hizumi will like it and wear it - even scarier .____.
3) He'll just laugh at a joke that the present is - that's what I hope for ^_^
And here it is! *drum roll* It is pink! It has Karubis all over it! It is the Magic Boxershorts!
