and count down @ Zojoji temple, but it just does not fit into the subject line xD
I arrived to Tokyo around noon, met up with
toujin1 and we went to check-in at the hotel and have a lunch and then met up with
hanayorinyanko and her friend at Shinjuku station and went to Yokohama. We got to the live house pretty early and had to wait for a while. The show started late also because they were slow with getting people in >_> I was pretty close to the stage in 5-6 rows almost in front of Hizumi, but a little to Karyu's side.
Set list (as usual the order in the middle of the main part except the slow part of it is messed up, but otherwise it should be correct):
Mirror
Subliminal
in vain
Marry of the blood
Trickster
Dears
Damned
Angeldust
Yami ni furu kiseki
Kaleidoscope
Kogoeru yoru ni saita hana
Cain and Abel
PIG
Hollow
Brilliant is a new song and they had it uploaded on the FC OHP with the lyrics and the fans were asked to suggest a title for it ^_^
Encore 1:
Born
Reddish
Fuyushita risou
Encore 2:
Fascism
Tatoeba kimi ga shinda ra
Encore 3:
Forbidden
They had a screen in the back of the stage that was showing images, mostly just geometrical patterns, nothing too fancy, but it's the first time they did something like that I think. A few times they removed the screen and used lights in the back. There was also a lot of cameras, I wonder if there is going to be a DVD ;3
At some point Hizumi climbed on the speaker at the side of the stage and Karyu lay on the floor right in front of it and then Hizumi jumped over him, but he either got his mic's cord tangled on Karyu or Karyu just pulled him back by it (I think that's what actually happened) that he had to jump back xD
During the first encore Tsukasa messed up and started to play very fast, Hizumi and Karyu just turned to him and exchanged glaces like "WTF?!" and then Hizumi waved his hands for Tsukasa to stop xD The dummer fixed his equipment with the help of the technician while everybody chanted "Tsukasa! Tsukasa!" xDDDDD
When they came back for one of the encores Karyu had an energy drink bottle in his hand and he showed it to the crowd and then kept looking at Hizumi who didn't paid any attention to him. So Karyu just put a drink on a rise-up and Hizumi acted very surprised when he noticed it xD So he took it and drunk and shouted パイト! and everybody answered with いこ! just like in Osaka xDDDDDD I think it's turning in some sort of inside joke xDDDD
In the end Hizumi did handshakes (or rather like hands-touching) with the fans and this time I was close enough to reach for him *o*V It was funny how he gestured for the fans in the first row to move a little so that he could put his foot on the railing to reach fans better xD
I also caught Karyu's pick *O* .... but I lost it soon after the live... T_______T why the hell did I put it in the jeans pocket?! *bashes her head on the wall* KSDHF;SDKAJFGHK,FD;SKGJ I'M NOT GIVING UP!!!!!! I'M GOING TO GET A PIECE OF THAT MAN ONE WAY OR ANOTHER!!! >;D I guess the fact that I dropped it accidentally just shows how tired and brain-fried I was after the live xD Well, I'm going to see them again in less than three weeks and then a month after that again *o* This is a band I can't just get enough of xD
On December 31st we went to C.C.Lemon Hall. My main reason to be there was Sadie ^__^
The first band that played was Ayabie. They played six songs and... bad. Just really-really bad. Nothing else to say >_>
heidi. was really good. They played only four songs but they were incredibly good and fun. I think next time they play in Nagoya I'm going to see them ^____^
Girugamesh good but I probably need to listen to their records, before I form an opinion. They were interesting though.
Sadie played five songs in total all of which I recognized but I just don't know their titles except Children of Despair which they played fourth. Their entrance was amusing because of Mizuki, he grabbed vocalist's microphone and screamed in it a few times hyping up the crowd until Mao got on stage. That guy is such an attention whore it's amusing. A couple of times he also grabbed his microphone stand and moved to the front of the stage. Apparently being where he was wasn't enough for him xDDDDD Mao's rise-up is a little to high for him in my opinion, it's funny to see a shortie like him jump on and off it xDDD Once he jumped too high and then tripped and landed on his ass xDDDD So uncool but very funny xDDDD I liked them ^__^
Mix Speaker's Inc. ROFL!!! I laughed through out their set. They are so amusing! Those crazy costumes and dance moves xDDDDDDD Not the band to which music I'd listen to or even went to see them specifically but incredibly funny nonetheless.
12012 I was curious about them because of all the hype around the band, but honestly I was bored... >_> Scratch them off the list of the bands I'll consider seeing or listening to ever again.
Wizard was even more boring >_<"
Vidoll once again not the band I'd listen to. Good, but not the kind of music I like *scratches them off too*
After the live we met up with a friend of
toujin1 and went to Zojoji temple. We walked around the temple grounds and went to Tokyo TV tower too. Unfortunately when we got back to the temple all the balloons were given out so we didn't managed to get them. At midnight everybody let them to fly and it looked very impressive. We also watched monks to burn daruma's and arrows. There was a huge daruma with both eyes black that means someones big wish came true. I got a prediction paper and it said I'll have excellent luck for 2008 ^___^ The funny part of it was: "Missing thing - a boy may know where it is". Should I ask Karyu where I lost his pick? xDDDDD I bought a small daruma for myself next day and on the way back home I painted its one eye black and made a wish. It's small wish, but I think the daruma will be burned still one-eyed next New Year's Eve >_> oh well xD Unfortunately, because we spent such a long time outside in the cold, next morning I woke up with a bad cough and a cold. We hung around Harajuku and Shibuya during January 1st, but because my cold got worse I cut my stay in Tokyo short and went back home to Nagoya in the evening. If I'm going to be sick and miserable I prefer to be sick and miserable alone at home, out of everybody's way and everybody out of my way. I was also afraid it'll get even worse when I'm at the hotel and have to check-out and go all the way back home >_< and it did get worse on the way back actually T___T well, I start to feel better now... hopefully it'll go away soon.
So this is it about my first New Year in Japan ^____^ Now I guess I'll do some video editing and uploading ^__^V but first I probably should eat something... >_>
