Anybody out there have suggestions for dealing with really inconsiderate / combative neighbors? Ours are really really loud at all hours of the night. Last time I asked them to please keep it down at 3am ( blasting music, screaming) they responded by setting fireworks off under my window at random intervals until about 5am. Tonight they woke me up from a dead sleep at 2am. I asked them to keep it down or at least move from directly under my window and got "Close your fucking window and shut the hell up." in reply from the home owner. I'd love to shut my window but the air conditioning doesn't work upstairs and I'd fry. I'm at the point where I'm thinking of just calling the cops whenever. This just seems like such a dick move.
I'd be a whole lot more inclined to be cool if I weren't trying to study for a lab practicum and a A&P exam right now.
