My stepbrother and stepsister were just arrested.
He was pepper-sprayed and thrown on the ground when he didn't find his wallet and my stepsister was arrested for freaking out when they did that.
I may despise my stepbrother but that's fucked up.
And Washingtonville PD, here's just a little FYI: if you want people to stop accusing you of being racist then maybe you should stop firing the minority officers for BS reasons and pepper-spraying the the black men for not pulling out their driver's licenses fast enough or striking the the latino ones. Just a thought.
EDIT: They beat him. My mom was in the ER with him all night. She had to take pictures of the choke marks around his neck from when they were choking him and the bruises all over his body. And apparently they didn't just pepper-spray him but my stepsister too. Yeah, because the 5'2" insulin dependent diabetic is so threatening to the men with the guns.
This entire situation is just sickening.
Note to self: always have my wallet in plain sight while driving back home. just in case
