Please note my beautiful new icon, which reflects my most recent obsession - the show House M.D., starring the delectable Hugh Laurie. I want him to be my baby daddy.
On another note, Circle in the Square is officially over for me. It was fun, and challenging, and all kinds of things. I learned tons, not only about acting, but - as cheesy as it sounds - about myself. I think it made my post-graduation "Where to go?" decision easier in some ways. I both know that I could easily adapt myself to NY, and that if I go to Chicago for a few years, it's not because I'm running scared.
Now I have to really hunker down and prepare for school. Let's just say there will be several monologues learned over the next couple weeks. Plus, I need to figure out what songs to sing. I don't want to do something that's way overdone, but with our limits of composers (Kander & Ebb, Cy Coleman, and Stephen Schwartz) it's tough.
I'm in Oak Park right now, and it's good to see people here. It'll also be good to see Emerson folks back in Boston - and to bring my little brother there! That's right, he's all grown up and coming to Emerson College to study lighting design. Amazing/scary.
