I thought I liked Todd, and then Nicholas Morrow came along and I became a full-on Nicholas/Elizabeth shipper. My first non-canon ship ever! And then they kept breaking Todd and Elizabeth up, and then getting them back together, and by the time they broke up for good (after Todd moved to Vermont and fell in love with Suzanne Devlin??) I was done with him and ready for Elizabeth to move on. (Sadly, her one date with Nick didn't go anywhere, although I never completely gave up hope.) So when they brought him back the second time, I was annoyed. (God, I can't believe I can still tl;dr about Todd Wilkins.)

Also, I totally had that edition of "Perfect Summer". But I bought it new. Probably the week that it came out. Yes, I was addicted, why do you ask?

I really only have one response to this.

Why don't I remember Nicholas Morrow?

Okay, so clearly both of us need to read the series as it is republished and write fic. It's the only way to recover from the torture we underwent at the hands of all the cruel writers that taunted us.

Hot 21-ish year old son of the new rich guy in town? They moved in around book 13 or so. He had a huge crush on Elizabeth and he tried to lure her away from Todd. With his richness. And his hotness. Also, his sister Regina was deaf (and then she fell in love with Bruce Patman and then she had to go to Switzerland to get her hearing back and then she got kidnapped and then she died in the course of the most irritating "drugs are bad, mmmmkay?" PSA in the history of the universe). Since that's around the time I stopped reading, I don't know if he was in any of the books after Regina died, so maybe that's why you don't remember him.

In conclusion, he was hot. And rich. And I remember wayyyy too much about this series. And oh god don't tempt me.
