Veronica sighed. "Why don't you draw some pictures," she suggested. "We can send them to Uncle Angel and Uncle Logan when we get there."

Veronica did so and then picked up her drink after checking to make sure Lilly was keeping herself busy.

"I hope the house is okay," she said. "I feel weird buying it based on pictures on the web."

"Right. Because we have that kind of disposible income," she said, rolling her eyes. She knew they did, but she hated using the money that Dick had inherited from his father.

He knew they did too and he still didn't get why she was so uncomfortable with having money. "That's okay, if the house is kind of junky we can get Lilly to decorate it. Right, kid?"
