It's terrible that we harbor those within our midst who would resort to this sort of base terrorism in order to accomplish their goals. Those responsible must either be cowards or anarchists, for little can be accomplished through acts such as these. Real change can only occur through the use of careful diplomacy, and if force must be resorted to, it should not involve the innocent as well as the guilty.

I admit, not even I had envisioned something quite on this level. I suspect whoever carried out the recent assassinations is to blame here, as well. I do not like the thought that there is someone else operating on this level, of whose aims we know nothing. I need information. In the meantime, however, we should use this to our advantage. There will be a window of opportunity here, before the government has time to fully react, and we must take advantage of it. It is likely things will become more complicated for us from here on out, unless the perpetrators of these acts is brought to justice, but we mustn't lose sight of our goals. Our purpose is to bring about a new Ivona, one we can be proud of, one that serves the people, rather than oppresses them. Keep this in your thoughts, though difficult times await us. I have faith that we shall persevere in the end.
