H-to-the-ardcore show
so, things. Friday went to a hardcore show with Pat. His friend Bill was running the second annual Heart and Heavy fest a the Elks club in salem. It was a small place and an ok crowd. SOme not bad bands actually. Allherkings has the drummer from Pictures of Gabriel and another kid from Kobe Tai who pat's friends with ,Stro, who sings but is not exceptional at it...it's sound ok tho, and great instrumentals with tons of stomp boxes. There's a really young band that has that...i dunno what genre to put it in but i'm sure kevin would classify it as punk... the band is New Year... the kids were like 16 or 17, but sounded really good. Anyway, got a shirt and 2 cds.
Then Kati came over for a few days, but I work all the time and she let me know last minute. SOOOO she sat around by herself for like 7 hours saurday, and left before i worked today. It was stil nice to see her tho. I really like hat girl super fricken hard.
Got jury duty on tuesday, and that night is my photo class first day. Yee haw. I'm gonna get negative developing equiptment: a tank and reel, some small quantities of chemicals, a couple graduated cylinders and a changing bag if i can find the last item (it's a black bag with hand holes so that you can put the film on the reel without setting up a huge closet for it all. But I'll be using the school's darkroom and closet thingy anyway. So yeah. It'll be useful later. Neatness. Ok, i'm out. Peace.
