{Blog} Wh-What Just Happened?!
Arthur, I-I didn't mean to, but I was hearing these really strange noises coming from the Reading Room... I-I had to investigate for the good of science, but when I came in, I saw all of these objects - books and cards and pens... FLOATING ON THEIR OWN. I swore that I was seeing things... because it looked an awful lot like those levitating special effects in the Harry Potter films.
I didn't have enough time to register what was happening before someone - or something - hit me on the back of my head with a rather large Oxford Dictionary and knocked my spectacles clean off the bridge of my nose. I must've stepped on them before I slumped over, but I swear I saw these pink and green creatures scurrying about Arthur's desk before I passed out...
They're... real?! I mean - I've been able to see dragons all my life, but faeries? And brownies and gnomes. They're everywhere! I thought the house was just haunted by ghosts!
...and when I came to... I was lying in bed with... a plate of steaming cottage pie and a cup of Earl Grey - just the way I like it, too - sitting on my night stand... along with my glasses, which now have a piece of electrical tape keeping the nose piece together.
Duw, I think I'm just going to stay in bed for the rest of the day...
