{Action} In Which Dewi Should've Seen this Coming

Oct 01, 2010 11:34

[After receiving and returning a call to one Ms. Key, Dewi sweeps Arthur's newly broken vase beneath the sofa and laces his converse for a journey nearly a mile and a half in distance. He is out the door, running down the street at blazing speeds, and happens upon a convenience store. He purchases a bouquet of various, colorful flowers and continues his tread in a more careful manner so as not to destroy the poor flowers.

After checking the secretary, a lovely woman with freckles and red hair he learns is named 'Susanna', he learns that John Paul is on the fourth floor in room 17. Forget Elevators! He bids Susanna farewell, and skips three stairs at a time in order to reach the floor in proper timing.

He is not surprised to find the door open, and he throws himself in a dramatic way, extending the flowers to a - woman? - oops, wrong room.

He skips across the hallway into the correct room, and presents his half-brother with the wind-flustered bouquet, and heartily explains to him that he was sent by John's mother.

Well, wait, maybe this isn't the right room. Because one former-therapist Doctor Ivan Braginsky is sitting in the bed parallel to John. They lock eyes, the Doctor smiles and bids " whatshisname" a good morning. Dewi, dumbfounded, wishes John a good afternoon and leaves without a word.

Then he redials his half-Aunt's number:]

"Hello, Ms. Key, your son is fine. Smiling and everything! He might have to be on crutches for a while, but... nothing to worry about! He's strong; can handle anything nature or creepy therapists can throw at him! Again, have a lovely evening - I hope I'm not calling you too late - and I hope to see you during the Holidays!"

john, i did not forget to take my medication, the angels have the tardis!, !action, not so fabulous, what the bloody hell
