It hadn't taken as long as he'd anticipated to find himself in Oklahoma standing outside the bar he believed belonged to the man who might be his father. The real deal, biologically connected. But it was what was coming next that was taking forever.
Yet some how he'd not been able to make himself go inside. He'd paced, sat across the road watching it. He'd nearly gone in three of four times but still, he couldn't step over the threshold, and he just couldn't understand why. What was it holding him back?
It had briefly crossed his mind it was an anti-demon barrier or something similar but he dismissed that idea. No, it was something he didn't really want to admit too. Fear.

Finally he decided to book himself into the motel and try again the following day.

The next evening he headed to the bar. He'd worn the outfit he'd thought most likely to be able to help him 'fit in'. He had his fake ID close to hand, and he waited to walk in with a couple of other people so he'd not even stand out as being alone.

Once inside the bar he looked around, with out even thinking it over identifiying the exits, potensial dangers, any trouble he might have. With a deep breath he walked up to the bar and smiled. "Hi, one Beer please"
