Don't you think its kind of funny, what you miss the most from home?  I mean, sure, I miss Mom and Dad and all my friends.  But I keep thinking about all the other things from home. Just strange little things, but it kind of hurts to think that I might never get to see them again

I think it's perfectly natural to think about those kinds of things. The strangest tidbits pop up when you're already used to missing everything in general, after all.
