Character Information
General
Canon Source: Bleach
Canon Format: Manga
Character's Name: Kurosaki Ichigo
Character's Age: 16
Conditional: If your character is 13 years of age or under, please clarify how they will be played.
What form will your character's NV take? A simple cell phone, maybe one new enough to have the proper functions of video and all that. Ichigo I don't see as caring for having the newest shiny phone anyway.
Abilities
Character's Canon Abilities: Ichigo is a shinigami, so he has a Zanpakuto named Zangetsu. Zangetsu has two forms, a very large (and almost ridiculous) sword due to his immense amount of reiatsu. A much smaller black blade appears in his bankai form, due to condensing his reiatsu. Ichigo is also an expert at shunpo (flash stepping). In recent canon though, Ichigo reached a point of power so high that his reiatsu is now undetectable. A good way to describe just how strong he has become is by pointing out that when he returns from his fight with his hollow and Zangetsu to fight the evolved Aizen, Ichigo destroys a mountainside with his sword, and stops the highest level of a kido spell there is without even batting an eyelash.
Zangetsu has three abilities, the Shikai, the Bankai and the Final Getsuga Tensho. His Shikai ability is called Getsuga Tensho and when he uses it, a massive amount of energy fires out of the tip and can be very destructive.
Tensa Zangetsu is the Bankai form of Zangetsu. Unlike most Zanpakuto' Bankai forms, his sword shrinks and his speed increases greatly. Getsuga Tensho remains the ability that he uses while in this form, however the power increase is far greater then before. It also increases his speed (shunpo) to the point that he could almost surpass the Goddess of Flash Shihouin Yoruichi and compresses his energy so that where other Shinigami would tire out form all of the power, he can fight for a much longer duration. When he uses Getsuga Tensho in Bankai form, he refers to it as Kuroi Getsuga because the color of the energy blasting from the end is black.
His third ability is actually called 'Mugetsu' despite Ichigo calling it the Final Getsuga Tensho, and in order to do this move Ichigo must take on the form of his zanpakuto. When he does, Ichigo materializes a sword made of black reiatsu, and the sky turns black. The power of it alone can wipe people out easily (as seen with it nearly finishing off Aizen), but it comes with the price of losing his shinigami powers completely.
Ichigo has the power of a hollow due to gaining his shinigami body back under Urahara Kisuke's secret training technique. Due to this, he not only shares power with Zangetsu but with Hollow Ichigo as well. When in hollow form, his Bankai becomes even stronger and he can even shoot off multiple Kuroi Getsuga's in a row. The duration of how long his mask can stay on varies, having only started at being able to keep it on for 11 seconds when he first started training with it. Now in canon, however, Ichigo has defeated his hollow AND Zangetsu at the same time, so it is unknown if his mask is even of use anymore.
Even without Ichigo's supernatural abilities, he's an expert in martial arts and always stays fit. He also was ranked 23rd in his class back home, indicating that he may seem dumb outwardly but he actually is intelligent; and he is even shown being able to analyze people and their abilities rather quickly.

Character Personality: Ichigo's personality has changed a lot since the beginning of the series, he has become more wise in the moves he makes and much more mature than in the beginning. Before though, Ichigo was a rude, loud punk who always wore a scowl on his face to seem mean or tough no thanks to being bullied for having such a strange hair color. He didn't respect his elders, and even now it is hard for anyone to get an honorific out of him. He also got into fights frequently, mostly with bullies. On the other hand though, Ichigo would have done anything to protect his family and friends and his tough exterior was mostly just an act.
He is also noted to be a prude, hiding away from anything sexual and often having outbursts to try to stop a subject from even going that direction.
Due to his Mother's death on June 17th when he was nine years old, that time of year is particularly hard on Ichigo (even to this day) thanks to the guilt that he feels because he thinks her death is all his fault. Ichigo usually just smiles around this time of year, dropping his tough guy act and pretending to be normal in an attempt to seem alright (oblivious to the fact that it clues in to his discomfort even more than when he scowls). This event is definitely one of the most defining moments in Ichigo's life, because the act of his mother giving her life for his gave him the desire to protect everyone around him. Even strangers.
If Ichigo fails to win a battle or fails to prevent someone from getting hurt, he automatically feels like he failed his friends and sinks into a deep depression. When this happens, he will just lay on his bed and mope for hours and hours. But once he gets back into the show, a fierce determination appears to the point that it's almost frightening, at least to those fighting him. Another notable thing about Ichigo's determination and sense of justice is that he has no qualms with taking pound for pound, he has been seen taking an arm from someone who took another person's. While Ichigo may not like killing anybody, I believe he truly believes in the fight to the death and the honor of it, and he won't hesitate to kill if he has to. However, he does believe in a fair fight, and Ichigo will sacrifice himself to his enemy to make it fair as seen with his fight with Ulquiorra and his hollow.
One of his personality flaws comes from his desire to protect people, and often times Ichigo ends up getting himself hurt by charging in without thinking or caring about himself. His determination, while a great attribute, is also his greatest weakness. If provoked, it doesn't take much to get Ichigo to charge, and sometimes this can even lead to him making wrong assumptions.
Recently in canon however, Ichigo fought with his inner Hollow and Zangetsu, and when he returned his personality seemed to take on the changes mentioned above. He is calm, collected and even seems melancholy about the double edged blade he knows he has to walk. In order to finish off Aizen, he must use a technique that will completely take away his powers, therefore taking away the best thing he was ever given; his ability to protect the people he holds dear. Giving that up isn't something Ichigo wants to do, but he knows he has to in order to save everyone.
Conditional: Personality development in previous game: N/A
Character Plans: I don't have any solid ones yet, but I do know that Ichigo will likely spend his time trying to protect people and end up making friends that way. Not to mention the fact that Himawari Kunogi has history with him from another roleplay, and while he won't have a clue who she is we definitely plan on developing their friendship.
Appearance/PB: Ichigo is a relatively normal teenager, due exception to his bright orange hair. Not caring so much about his appearance, his hair is messy (and longer after that 'three month training') and he generally keeps a scowl on his face to appear 'bad ass' despite his claims that he doesn't care what other people think. He is considered to be rather tall, coming to between 5'9 and 5'11 (because it was noted that after the 'three months' that he trained he returned a little bit taller), which only adds to his 'cool' demeanor.
Being a substitute shinigami, Ichigo wears the normal uniform seen worn by the majority of the shinigami in Soul Society. But in when in his Bankai his top changes into a long black tattered coat with deep red coloring on the inside. Naturally this is the form he uses when he uses his hollow power, which consists of a mask that enables the hollow inside of him to give him power. The mask appears to be a menacing skull with dep red markings around the left side of it, and when worn his normally brown eyes turn to a sickly yellow.
It should be noted that from the point in canon I am taking Ichigo, his hair is longer and he grew about an inch from when his friends last saw him; due to his fight with his hollow that lasted three months.
He also has different forms for his abilities, such as when his body is under severe stress and he turns into a hollow. His mask is a full helmet with horns coming out of the top of it, and when this happens his hair grows out to about mid-back length.
When using The Final Getsuga Tensho, or Mugetsu, Ichigo turns into Zangetsu. This results in his hair growing out past his butt and turning black, and he gets covered in dark bandages from his nose down.

[The feed starts and an orange haired teenager comes onto the screen with a small (surprisingly, for anyone who may recognize Ichigo) frown. The teen is clearly not happy about his arrival in this place, but he's trying not to flip out too much. There's no point in getting all worked up over it when for all he knows Aizen could be behind this. He could be waiting for Ichigo to react, just like that.
It's not worth the risk, Ichigo has already fed into Aizen's plans more than enough. So instead, Ichigo decides that making his presence known in a minor way is an alright step to take, and he can sense the reiatsu of a couple of people from his own world already. His best bet is to get into contact with them as quickly as possible.]
Ah...[Ichigo glances from the video a little awkwardly, frowning a little harder as he tries to think of how to word a random introduction to...however many people may even be able to see it.] This is too weird... My name is Kurosaki Ichigo...and yeah. I know there are others from my world here...so an update or something would be nice? Tch. [Yeah, he's got nothing. The feed just ends there, because recording himself was incredibly awkward and weird...and next time he may decide to just use a text function instead.]
Third Person Sample:
One minute, Ichigo was staring down at Ichimaru Gin dying; bleeding on the ground and getting ready to fight with Aizen, and the next? Well. Ichigo honestly didn't know what happened. It all went down so fast, the sudden change in gravity and a crushing, blinding weight seemed to suffocate and threaten consume him. It felt like he was falling, but Ichigo couldn't force his eyes open to even find out. Even for all of his strength, it was just impossible.
That was until he landed hard on something solid, and amber eyes snapped open in shock. The orange haired teen sat up quickly and immediately found that that was a mistake on his part. Whatever had happened had made his muscles spazz out and tense up; and the head rush he got from the movement was almost blinding. It took everything Ichigo had to keep himself upright as he swayed a little, swallowing hard to force back a wave of nausea from the dizziness.
It took Ichigo a few minutes to shake it off enough to be able to look around him to see where he was, and the shocked expression returned when he realized that he was in the middle of a baseball diamond. How the hell did he get here, and why was he here?
Most importantly, where was Aizen?
The Shinigami made a small sound of discomfort as he shifted to his knees and looked to the side of him to locate Zangetsu; who had come unraveled from his arm during the fall apparently. The sword was only about a foot away, but somehow reaching out to grab his handle was more work than it should have been and Ichigo groaned as he drew the small black blade towards him. Ichigo took the chain and wrapped it back into place around his right arm before turning his attention to the baseball field once again.
There was graffiti everywhere, and Ichigo definitely didn't recognize the baseball park he'd just been dropped into. This was all wrong...and Ichigo had to tell himself inwardly that freaking out certainly wouldn't help his situation. If Aizen had done this, then that was obviously what he had expected to come from Ichigo...
And Ichigo was done feeding in to that bastard's plans and pushing them along. In fact, the teen found himself very irritated at the fact that somehow his fight managed to get stalled like this. It was time to end it, and of course something had to get in his way. If he could sense Aizen anywhere near him, it might not be quite as unnerving, but he couldn't.
He sighed heavily and finally pushed himself up to his feet, trying to keep his wince to himself despite the fact that he was clearly alone. Ichigo swayed and stumbled once step to the left slightly as the dizziness came back full swing, and he couldn't help the next frustrated sound that came out of him as he brought one hand up to hold at his head again. That was when the teen noticed a strange heaviness in the hidden pocket of his uniform.
Ichigo frowned and dropped that hand to fish around, and for the third time today his eyes widened in shock as his fingers closed around what seemed like a cellphone to the touch. He drew it out and frowned as he looked at it, finding himself even more confused. Who placed a cellphone on him? Where in the hell was he and again, why the hell was he even here? Why did he feel like he'd been hit by four trains and Aizen himself?
He supposed it was time to find out, and Ichigo started towards the city (slowly, because damn did his muscles ache) in the distance. If he didn't find answers, then maybe he would still find Aizen...and still manage to save everyone in Karakura Town.
Later, and much to his dismay, Ichigo would find himself even more confused with the explanation he'd wanted so badly in those first moments of his arrival. And more put off, because this wasn't what he was supposed to be doing. Ichigo had a fight he was supposed to be in, a fight that would decide whether or not the people he aimed to protect would even survive...and here he was in some twisted city with no choice what-so-ever.
It was just not okay, at all.
