I feel a lot better, now. About -- everything, really.

Rockman, I won't tell anybody about what we talked about, but I've been thinking about some stuff you said a long time ago, and I think I finally got it now.

"'Course. So, whatcha gonna do about the power source?"

"Um, solar power is looking like my best choice. Unless I can find something else that's small enough?" He looked to Aile to see if she had any suggestions.

She shrugged. "Can't think of anything better at the moment. You can build right out of solar panels, so..."

"Yeah, I can pretty much make the wings from the same kind found in treeborgs." He grins and makes another note. "So anyway, you mentioned you wanted to ask me something?"

[not_rockman]

"Kay~ Lemme know if I can help with anything." Meantime, she snuggled up to him, sighing. "I just -- Christmas stuff, you know?"

"You could help me look for the parts later today, okay? I should have a well enough idea of what I'm doing by then."

He set his notes on the desk and pulled her onto his lap so they wouldn't tip the chair over. "Christmas stuff? You mean gifts?"

"Yeah. I mean, I need a hint for you, but I need help with everybody's..."

"A hint? Um, there's nothing in particular I want... Unless it's a promise that you won't laugh at whatever I get you," he joked. "And I'm not the best at gift giving, so I don't know how much help I'll be."

She laughed. "Well, I just did, so that's taken care of!"

"I'll think of something, I'm sure. Now, um, I guess you've got a point, but still."

"And she laughs anyway." Rockman shook his head. "Even though I haven't given her anything yet."

"Hmmmm, Rock got Video a gift certificate for this movie place. He was going to get him a DVD but it's hard to keep up with what he has and what he doesn't, you know. So that's something you can't get him." That didn't really help but he was trying.

She pat his head once, grinning. "I promise not to laugh when you give it to me, though!"

"Great. Well, I can always find something I KNOW he doesn't have, right?"

"So you say!"

"Of course. How 'bout you? Gonna give me a hint or should I continue with my ebil plans?"

[not_rockman]

"You can go ahead and go with whatever plans you have." She pats him on the head, smiling.

"Right-o then." He stuck his tongue out at her for the head pat.

"Now, are you going to help me pick out which of my horribly drawn sketches gets to become real or continue to use me as a chair?"

"Mmm..."

"The chair idea sounds fun, but if I gotta..." she started pouring over the designs, picking the one she liked the best.

He chuckled as he dug through his papers for the money card his class had provided for the project. "Okay, lets go get the parts to build this thing!"
