Gee, this is getting truly boring. How many days has this blackout been on already? Five? And it's still raining outside. (Shouldn't that be, I don't know, weather-ly impossible? DX)
Think's time for someone to do something about it already! (= =u) Plus I'm almost running out of the supplies Mr. Leonardo gave me.Being all this time by myself makes

Terra let out a relieved sigh when she finally reached the building with the boys' dorms. On her way there, she had managed to see strange shadows forming against the brick walls of certain stores and heard voices that sent chills up her spine. Maybe it had all been her mind playing tricks on her, which it tended to do whenever scary things were happening around her. Still, she practically ran all the way to her destination without stopping.
When she opened the glass door leading inside, she felt a cold chill hit her wet body. She had not been able to find a raincoat or an umbrella, so she decided to merely go as she was, which she later regretted. It was odd, however, to feel so frigid in the hallway since the electricity was still out. Though, she did not question those circumstances.
She pulled the paper with the directions she had written down out of her pocket and looked at the letter and number that was supposed to belong to August. Sighing, she wondered if this whole meeting was really such a good idea. He was a perfect stranger. Sure, he seemed harmless, but...didn't they always? However, that was not the only thing bothering her about it. What if...he didn't even like her? What if...he took one look at her and decided she wasn't worth his time?
For a few moments, she stood in front of his room, thinking about what her choices were. Ditching him would be a stupid thing to do, considering that it would obviously anger him and that going back home after having the crap scared out of her was beyond risky. She decided to just tough it out. To be strong, to be brave, like she always forced herself to be. Maybe he would really enjoy her company. Some of the other locals seemed to like her well enough, so...why wouldn't he?
After she knocked on the door, she felt her legs become like jelly and goosebumps creep over her skin. Okay, bravery was definitely overrated...

Ahem, either ways room had to be in perfect conditions. Good thing he found a couple of candles on that drawer earlier. Giving such a nice soft light to all the room....
And Renoir had to stop his trail of thought right there. Sure it was nice but... well, being a mutant turtle didn't left much self-stem... specially after his parents and the rest of New York considered him a monster...
To be honest this will be his first interaction with another 'human' (not counting Shadow, Mr & Mrs. Jones, Carole and Davianna) since his 'transformation'. Sure, Terra seemed nice. But maybe it was all out of pity...?
Renoir suddenly didn't felt so secure about himself anymore.

No. He didn't seem to be that kind of guy. She rubbed the back of her neck and decided to call out to him. "August? You there?" The last thing she needed to do was give up hope. She just really wanted to believe that not everyone was going to abandon or betray her.

"Eh? Oh, I'm sorry!" He hurried to open the door, a nervous smile on his face and a hand behind his head. "I kinda got distracted. I hope you haven't been waiting here for long." He made a motion telling Terra to enter the room.

Her clothes were quite soaked, clinging closely to her body, leaving her figure visible to anyone who would gawk at it long enough. Though, she never did mind those sorts of details. Not really. Being stared at had been a fact of life to her, something she had learned during her days on the road. There was no use in getting upset over trivial things like that.
"I brought the laptop." She placed the heavy bag containing the device on the floor and knelt down to start plugging in the cables in their matching slots.

After a while, visibly staring at unholy places as he felt himself blushing. Oh gawd, maybe it wasn't time for that.
He mumbled something under his breath before standing up. "I'llgetyouatowel! DX" He squeaked before running to the bathroom.

After fiddling some more with the computer, she got it to work. "Okay, so, now we play...?"
