you're so vain

Sometimes I worry that I cant live up to the hype
surrounding the human race
and I doubt the choices I make
and then doubt my doubting
because Im just so lonely
but when Im in your company
it seems I become a moving target for
your jabbering aims at conversation
and then theres you
I dont know whether I want you or I want to be you
but that happens to me often enough
to know its just me knowing I cant live up to the hype.
