can't stop listening to my girl mariah! my cousin jenny was here this weekend and got extremely irritated by random outburts of "always be my baby". it makes me feel good so why not?

i keep reading/hearing about the wonderful weather in richmond and all the things everyone is doing! jennLz entries make me homesick for some good old sweaty intoxicated nights on the brothels back porch. even if that means having to hang out with da buddy. i have to say its now happened on THREE seperate occasions and it's pretty sweet that whenever i call juliana i'm guaranteed a surprise chat with a richmond-ite. how i can't wait to jump on my purple bike and drink warm PBR. yummmy

speaking of bicycles-- i found a pink bike while i've been up here! it's seriously damaged (i'm talking flat tires / rusted all over / needs serious TLC) but i'm working on getting it at least to ride-able. then aaron can visit da L.I. and we can bike to the ferries and go on the trails on fire island! my favorite beach by far, except for the artic water but that's a given for new england beaches. if i get it real good maybe i can bring it back and sell it. i know miss jb was inquiring about the purple (my babbyyyy) but the pink could be a nice subsitute.

i love the spring weather! everything has burst into pastels! my great aunt eunice brought over a walker / cart for my nana. it sort of looks like a toilet seat that you can push around. let me try to explain more clearly: it has a wire basket with a toilet seat top on wheels... kind of. i'll post a picture sooner or later. anyways-- my nana hated it (as she hates everything) so my mother and i thought it would be clever to stick a pillow in it and bungee cord the top closed and take yoshhh for a walk! i probably looked a bit crazy-- barefoot with a bright yellow shirt that says "Val Sandiego for major" pushing a cat in a carriage of sorts. yosh loved it though! hopefully i'll be bringing that back to richmond and can begin taking yosh to the park / store / class (???)

speaking of great ideas, aunt jane, uncle tom, my mom, and i came up with the new hit reality show. we're going to pitch it to lifetime "who's your nana?" it's going to be a reality show where 30 grandmother-aged women compete to be my next nana. there will be contests and every week i'll kick off a grandmother based on performance in the major G-MA categories: baking skills, story-telling, bragging rights, and arts&crafts skillz. we decided since my current nana is such a dud (i feel no guilt for saying that either) i should go and find another. of course, i would gladly take uncle jimmy and aunt eunice as surrogate grandparents but they have their own grandchildren to fawn over...

well that's it for now. enjoy the beautiful weather you lucky fools!
