Anyway, the yuckiness of last year is behind me. The new year waits ahead, and I'm going to make sure it's one of my best. You may be wondering why that is. Why this year has to be better than the ones that came before it.
Well, because I deserve it.
And so do all of you. So if you're reading this now, don't think, "My resolution is to lose weight," or, "My resolution is to save more money," or anything like that. This year, make your resolution to live the best year of your life. And then next year, do it again. And the year after that, do it again. And...Well, I'm sure you can see where this is going.
If this is your mindset at the beginning of the year, good things will happen. And if life chucks a few unpleasantries your way, let them roll off your back. This is your year, just like it's my year.
