Sony Store

I need to use my camera more for today I visited the mecca for excessive gadget candy the sony store in Tokyo. They were mainly hawking 2 items...

1. The Rolly http://www.sony.jp/products/Consumer/rolly/products/index.html. It's a stereo/robot combo with a no-screen UI and editable motions. And at $450 it's a baller status toy.

2. The new Cybershot cameras. I don't know if they were released in the US yet but this is the first time for me to see the new "technology" they built into their cameras. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lJz5pvW6NVw . There is a mode where the camera will lock onto people's faces and take a photo as soon as the person/s smile. cute...

I kind of expected more out of the sony building, it was a few floors and pretty empty. Nothing really spectacular although if I were baller the rolly would have definitely been bought.

The mac store right down the street was stupidly packed and rightly so. It's 5 floors, incl. one floor that was basically a theatre room with how to lectures. The floors are accessible by stairs or automatic elevators! Though a bit freaky that there were no buttons. It was a whole helluva lot nicer than the sony building.
