[Alice is outside. She had found a package at the mailbox, and upon opening it, stopped at the steps to sit and further examine the contents. It was a worn hardcover copy of Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures In Wonderland. As she looked it over she saw that it was most definitely her own copy of the book. On the inside cover her name was scribbled down in big, red, crayon letters from when she was six. Carefully she flips through the pages, taking a moment or two longer on the Mad Tea Party chapter. She's taking her time out there on the steps with her book.]
