this is not a political entry.
i thought i'd bring this story to everyone's attention for a few reasons.

first reason - someone (jenny?) needs to show it to bullington. the line about 'the hearts and minds of the people' is something he repeated over and over again.
second reason - i just find it interesting to have a real look into the minds of al qaeda, rather than their rhetoric. of course, i disagree with them, but they're not mindless barbarians, they're pretty sophisticated tacticians. they wouldn't be so successful otherwise.
i'm not trying to start a debate about it, there's nothing to debate, i just think it's interesting.
