[Forward-dated to tomorrow afternoon.]
[Too many of her friends were gone - drafted. Too many. Too many people that she had strong emotions toward were fighting a new kind of battle. They were living dangerously, without any sort of luxuries, fighting to survive not just by day, but by night as well. It wasn't like the draft she could vaguely

...Hello, doggy. Are you alone?

He sits, letting her come up to him. He tilts his head, looking puzzled at her.]

But is Repede couldn't feel it...was it just her? Was she hearing voices in her head? Presea furrows her brows together, rubbing Repede head thoughtfully.]
You cannot sense it. [More a statement than a question.]

...[Then he looks back at Presea and makes a whining sound. No, he can't, but should he be concern?]

It...it is a presence - a voice. Even now, it lingers. I think it is...afraid of you, doggy. I...do not know why I can hear it. [She really hopes she's not going crazy and hearing voices.] It...it told me earlier it is called Faeren.

Looking thoughtful for a moment, he comes up with an idea. He takes a step back and then rolls onto his back with his belly showing. Not that he can hear or see Faeren, but maybe it'll understand he means it no harm.]

It was slow, creeping almost, but Presea felt the presence hover by her side, under her feet, and a little closer to Repede.]

But he never did anything more than just be there. He couldn't say anything, but be there. Maybe that's why Presea liked him so much, and felt she could be open and honest. He wouldn't judge or tell anyone.]
...Good boy. [She rubs his head with her palm.] Do you mind...staying with me for some time? I...I would like it if you did. Please. You may leave when you see fit.

[Presea takes a seat on the ground, Faeren's gentle presence allowing her a better feel for the earth around her, and for a bit of relaxation. Being in a forest was familiar to Presea, and she always felt most at ease with the sights, sounds, and smells of the forest around her. Plus, with her repetitively stroking Repede's head and back, it really took away much of her anxiety about the draft and the people drafted. This was...really nice.
She closes her eyes after a few minutes, upping her hearing, and lets the sounds wash over her.]
